At long last, we are able to fulfil a request made by many of our customers: from now on, you can register two email addresses in the Proof Shop – one for logging in and receiving status or tracking emails, and a separate one solely for receiving digital PDF invoices.
Over the past few years, we have already switched many Proof customers to digital invoicing at their request, i.e. we generated a PDF invoice and then sent it manually to a second email address on file with us in the shop.
With the new invoice email, we will now be discontinuing the sending of printed invoices altogether. With immediate effect, you will therefore always receive your proof invoice automatically by email, either to your login email address or to a separate billing address, if you have provided one.
Can’t find your invoice? Simply log in and download it
And if you’ve ever deleted an invoice email or can no longer find it: when you log in to our shop, you’ll see all your previous orders directly in your account overview, and next to each order there’s a PDF icon where the invoice for that order is available to download. There you’ll also find the ‘Order everything again’ function, which allows you to easily duplicate an order. If you need to send a set of proofs to two different addresses, you can simply duplicate the first order and then enter a second delivery address for the second order.

Incorrect grayscale display in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign

We passed the first proof certification for the 7C proof under FOGRA55
A few days ago Proof GmbH was the first company to be certified for proofing for the new 7C exchange colour space FOGRA55. Fogra has developed characterisation data for extended multicolour printing with the printing colours CMYKOGV – i.e. cyan, magenta, yellow, black (contrast), orange, green and violet – FOGRA55 as part of a research project over the past few years.
