Kraft paper, also known as craft paper, kraftliner or craftliner, is a particularly strong paper that plays an important role in the printing and packaging industry. The name ‘Kraft’ comes from the German word for ‘strength’, which describes the main property of this material well. It is mainly made from wood fibres, which are prepared in a special process known as the Kraft process.
